Tails of a Dog's Life
A medical drama/comedy television series, created by Andrew Vega
What is Tails of a Dog's Life?
Tails of a Dog's Life (or TOADL) is an in-development television series, created by Colorado screenwriter Andrew Vega. The idea for the series came from a collection of short stories Andrew began writing in high school, based on one of his favorite TV shows... Family Guy. The stories centered on his favorite character from the show, Brian Griffin, and how he became a doctor, alongside his newest best friend... the "somewhat blind, Doogie Howser of Dentistry," a.k.a. a younger version of himself. Eventually, through college, Andrew began to adapt the stories into screenplays, creating a series of his own that stands out from anything else you'll see on TV today.
How is TOADL different?
Realistic
Stories and situations that are as true-to-life as the ability to talk to your dog.
Entertaining
Creating episodes that are a howling good time from start to finish.
Relatable
Situations that make you feel like you've been there before.
Educational
Because you can never learn anything from watching TV... right?
